O Daughter of Zion

I wrote this blessing for the little girl inside each betrayed woman.   Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”   That little child may be buried under experiential lies, betrayal, and abuse done against her body – but she is there and Jesus invites her into the Kingdom.  When Jesus sees her – He sees a child like faith – a will to survive and a strong and mighty Queen ready to participate in the great love story of her life.  He can untangle the damage that has tried to snuff out that little girl’s light.  Bless her.

O Daughter of Zion – she has a quiet strength – an inner spirit that will protect her under all circumstances.  She has known what evil looks and feels like.  The strength inside of her, will be a light to guide her path.

The Holy Spirit will give her all measure of discernment for all her days.  She will walk in truth – fully armed in the righteous justice of God.  She will have her hands trained for battle, strengthened with a strong bow.  She already has a shield of victory, protecting and supporting her.  Her innocence will restore her.  She will walk in the light, seeking wisdom as her quiet spirit emboldens the power of her inner strength.

She knows more than she allows others to see, and for this she carries deep burdens, yet she can be a mouthpiece of redemption and the healing power of love.   May God grow her fortitude and the Lord be the King of her heart.

She will be cherished, delighted in, pursued and deeply loved.  She will throw her hands into the sky and dance in the midst of her Father’s joy.   Purity and Praise will be the names on her lips.

Fully seen and fully known in her glory before the Lord.

“When I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.  I bathed you with water and washed the blood from you and put ointments on you.  I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments.  I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, and I put a ring on your nose, earrings on your ears and a beautiful crown on your head.  So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen.  And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.” -Ezekiel 16:8 – 14

You are not alone.

Love,

Rochelle Sadie
